BOB Upcycled Craft Beer
BOB (Bottle of Bread) is a local craft beer brand established by Maxim's Group. In collaboration with the local startup BREER, the group collects surplus bread to 100% replace barley, upcycling them into craft beer. BOB has currently launched its original pale ale, "Bread Beer," and a stout flavored with coffee grounds, "Coffee Beer." The brand's design and beer flavors have been recognized and awarded by various international accolades.
WeGen farming
WeGen farming is a sustainable initiative launched by Maxim’s in collaboration with the local Hung Yat Farm, with the following characteristics:
- Collecting pre-consumer food waste from Maxim's to convert into natural enzymes, enhancing soil nutrition and preventing pests
- Zero Pesticides, Zero Chemical Fertilizers: Preserving the original flavor and nutrients of the ingredients
- Aligning with natural cycles and using eco-friendly farming techniques to protect soil, water, and maintain biodiversity
- Delivering seasonal ingredients directly to restaurants, promoting high-quality and healthy dining
- Establishing a circular economy to support sustainable local farming practices
